For those who love winter sports, at 48.8 km, you can find the Monte Amiata, famous winter resort, set in the Faggeta - the largest in Europe – offering for funs of skiing 10 km of Alpine Skiing with 8 lifts and 10,5 km of for Nordic skiing slopes.
For the lovers of water sports we recommend the Lake Trasimeno, which is just 29.3 km far from Cetona.
The little town of Cetona is also placed in the extreme southern part of the province of Siena, then in the last part of the territory separating Tuscany from Umbria and Lazio, which are indeed one step away.
